Founded in 2022, The Doan Foundation was created by artists, educators, community leaders, and entrepreneurs who understood firsthand what it means to be overlooked. Our mission is simple yet profound: to serve the artists, creatives, and cultural organizations that too often go unseen, unheard, or unsupported.
We believe art is not a luxury — it is a necessity. It has the power to heal, to unite, and to transform lives. That’s why our work goes beyond traditional philanthropy. We don’t just provide funding — we provide visibility, validation, and platforms for those whose contributions matter most to our communities but are rarely celebrated.

Access is more than opportunity; it’s the key to survival for many artists and organizations operating on the margins. We provide scholarships, artist grants, and direct support to ensure underserved creatives and cultural groups have the resources they need to continue their work. By removing barriers, we create pathways for growth and sustainability where none previously existed.
EMPOWERMENT
We empower individuals and organizations to not only pursue their craft but to claim their rightful place in shaping culture. Whether it’s awarding scholarships to young creatives, amplifying local artists at our Annual Gala, or sponsoring cultural festivals, we transform belief into action. Our support reminds artists and organizations that their work is not only valuable — it is vital.
